Tetsuya Nomura is an artist most notable for his works in character design. His artworks include the character design in the Final Fantasy series since the seventh game in the franchise, and all of the Kingdom Hearts games. He has been doing less art for these franchises as he has gained the game director position for newer projects. His characters like Cloud Strife from Final Fantasy VIII or Sora from Kingdom Hearts are both known for their spiky hair and unusually large weapons. Nomura has been very successful with his art and is an example of making characters through his own unique and recognizable style.
